It was Christmas morning, and Santa Claus had just finished delivering presents to all the good little boys and girls. He was about to take off for his little vacation in the North Pole when he heard a knock at his door. “Who could that be?” he thought as he walked up to answer it. Standing on the other side was an elf with a mushroom ugly Christmas sweater that said “Merry Fungal Holidays!”
“Merry Christmas!” I shouted, as I threw open the door. “Your present is on the mantle.”
I had just arrived at my sister’s house for our annual ugly holiday sweater party. It was tradition that we would all wear hideous sweaters and drink eggnog while decorating the tree. We were always so excited to see what everyone else had packed this year, but let me tell you- it never disappointed. Cynthia always went out of her way to find us something she knew we wouldn’t be expecting; last year she gave me a dancing robot that sang Jingle Bells until he broke after 10 minutes (which was hilarious). Santa’s first stop on his trip around the world would have to be Mushroomville where he hoped he could find some people who knew what to do about these nose-red deer.
“Hey Princess! I have a gift for you!” Santa’s voice could barely be heard through the howling wind. “It’s your favorite, the ugly Christmas sweater!!” He laughed as he said this because everyone knows that princesses love to wear their ugly Christmas sweater on Christmas day because it makes them feel like one of us. “Thank you Santa! Thank you thank you thank you!” The little girl replied enthusiastically reaching out to take her gift from his big red hands.
Hearing the sound of sleigh bells, Kristoff looked up from his reindeer. He then saw a large bearded man in red with a white beard that was coming towards him. Santa Claus had arrived! “Ho, ho, ho!” he shouted as he reached out to shake Kristoff’s hand. “It is so good to see you again.”
“And you too,” said Kristoff as they shook hands and grinned at each other. Santa pulled out this list and scanned it with his eyes before looking back at the reindeer herder. “I hear I need your help?”
Kristoff nodded proudly and pointed to Sven who gave an eager neighing noise in response.
Christmas eve, I was so excited to go see my family and spend the night with them for Christmas. But when I got there, they were all in their pajamas and watching a movie about Santa Clause. When I walked in they said “Hey sis!” but then went right back to the movie. They weren’t going to wake up from this slumber party anytime soon! It was going to be a long wait till morning till anyone could finally open presents together.
I had a plan though- one that would get us out of here quick and give me an excuse not to have dinner at home tonight too! So while everyone else slept on the couch, I found some flour from our kitchen cupboard upstairs and took
